Books about the mythology of hell?

I would like to know some good books on the mythology of hell. Things that kind of describe types of demons, or old folklore about hell. I was thinking of reading something like Dante's Inferno.. But I would like more books on such things. Also I would prefer if it's an old book or a book that has old details. Nothing new which could just be a writers over active imagination like the 66 seals of hell in the tv show super natural. Also I am unsure where to ask this question..maybe a knowledgeable reader would know or people he specifically study mythology.. even maybe religion..
