What type of projector would I ask for?

I need to project photos, either in color or in black and white, greatly enlarged (up to 4 ft x 8 ft area) from any size picture ranging in 2-3 "up to an 81/2 x 11 size onto a dark (almost black) surface. Needs to be completely done without the use of computers and without using clear acetate film. Preferrably something like the old clroom overhead projectors, however, they require the picture to be copied onto clear acetate and also it has to be projected onto a white area. Is there any such of thing and what is it called. This is for artwork.
