I would like to put a plant in my 4'X8' cubicle which resides by a window. Any suggestions?

I would like a plant that will provide a large amount of clean air. I've heard ferns are good when it comes to this. Please provide doentation that describes the plant and it's advantages. Keep in mind I am in a cubicle and space is of importance!
