What should I do when I arrive in Guayaquil at 1:15 am?

I just booked a ticket to Guayaquil, Ecuador and it arrives at 1:15 am. Any recommendations for a nearby hotel? My other idea was to sleep in the airport until 8am when my friend arrives, but I think I will be so exhausted I will want a bed. Suggestions?
