Just wanted to tell you I deeply appreciated your question. As to Ted, anyone really interested in 'defensible' possibilities should read the Watergate Transcripts. When I heard Howard Dean (and yes, I'm that old) speak of that night, I was enraged. Suffice it to say, there was something in his drink that night other than ice cubes and alcohol. And if you read all there is to read about the accident, it's the only thing that makes sense. RIP Teddy; I saw your heart, your courage, your cl and your generousity.
