Why are people here in the so close minded about men wearing speedos?

Because they will laugh at you and say, "He must be a foreigner. Only foreigners wear Speedos in the US." Which is absolutely true. If you don't care about wearing something that people laugh at, go ahead. It's just totally unfashionable.
