What do i need to do to be recruited by college coaches?

so I'm a junior and this was actually my first year of running track, however i was part of two state champion relay teams including our 4x4 which broke the state record. My coach says I will definitely be getting offers this summer and I've already started to get a few letters from D1 and D2 colleges. I'm trying to get my amateur status through the ncaa clearinghouse but do I need to do anything else or should I wait for colleges to come to me? I've heard of a few websites like beRecruited.com where athletes create profiles for themselves, should I be using one of these? I'm really just confused of the whole process...any help?
