You can keep the 4g in. Apply neosporine 3X a day, wash it with an anti-bacterial soap 3X a day and soak it in sea salt 3X a week. If it dont get better try amoxacillan (perscription needed) But dont let some dr. tell you it has to come out. Taking it out will only make it more suseptable to an infection.
