I have a friend with a Pomeranian puppy. She has tried everything but crating to housebreak it. Any ideas?

If Pomeranians are anything like American Eskimos, then the puppy will take a long time to toilet train, and your friend needs to be very patient with whatever techniques she tries. I had an Eskie that took more than three months to toilet train and not leave accidents in the house; otherwise he was a darling.
